I love my cat.

Sam: Why do you always use binoculars?
Suzy: It helps me see things closer. Even if they’re not very far away. I pretend it’s my magic power.
Sam: That sounds like poetry. Poems don’t always have to rhyme, you know. They’re just supposed to be creative.

NCSU students form a barrier around Abortion No’s graphic and triggering signs

What a great way to have your say and show respect and care for your fellow students. Does anyone remember this?

Angel Action helps counter-protestors protect others from the Westboro Baptist Church at funerals and court appearances, standing silently, sometimes carrying supportive signs, and wearing 10-foot wings to block the posters and hateful messages. Their website has instructions for making the wings.

That’s what this counter-protest reminds me of.

We’re using a similar tactic! We’re using sheets and tablecloths to cover up as much as we can. The one issue is that we’re a bunch of students, and they’re a big company with a lawyer telling the police that standing 15 feet away with a sign just as high as theirs is somehow infringing on their freedom of speech?
